For everyone who cant figure out how to get past code-page when you try to open JMS, here is the solution.

Download the zip file. It has the torrent and powerISO in it.

Use a torrenting program (bitlord, utorent, find one urself) and download the cd (if you have any different version of windows xp, go to mininova.org and search for your version.)

while you download it, install poweriso.

After the download finishes, extract the CD. Then right click on the cd file and go down to power iso, and set number of mounted drives. Choose 1. Then go back and choose mount to drive, and choose the drive thats there.

Then go to Start->Control Panel->Regional and Language options->Languages Tab then select Install files for East Asian languages. When it says it can't find a file, go to the mounted CD, go to the I386 file, and select it. It will auto find the rest.

Then change everywhere that says english on all 3 tabs to Japanese.

Hope this Helps ^_^ Took me forever to get torrent file cause mininova and most other torrenting sites are blocked on my computer.

When you try to play JMS (Japanese Maple Story), you open the game and it says you have to run game in Japanese code-page. Which means you have to switch the language settings on your computer to Japanese. Some people it doesn't work. this makes it work.

And no, all the writing does not turn to japanese.

Yeah, thanks for this (if it's the real deal). I really need this on my other computer, I couldn't find a torrent and you're saving me the trouble. ;)

Or just get asiansuite 2000. it has the jap files on it. I'll post it if this don't work <_<.

Edit: and HELL NO. JMS is NO WHERE NEAR AS BAD A MSEA LAG, there is a SMALL lag on item picking up, but using the regular tubi makes it to normal GMS pick up, and if you join, DO NOT JOIN KAYAKI OR KAEDE, they are very packed at peak hours. Or at least as how i've experienced it.

How do I register anymore? I'm getting stuck on one part, it's asking me for an e-mail or something and it doesn't accept any of me emails.

odorf07 the file won't be approved due to it linking to a warez/illegal copy of Windows XP.
