Anyone hate hearing spam in public channels? If so, while in the game, type /options igpub. Without the ".". It ignores everyone that isn't on your friends list in public channels. You might know this, but I just found it out :)

yea.. i saw that on the blizz site a few days ago... but the thing i hate is everytime u come onto battle.net it resets the squelch... does this reset?

I haven't found out yet, but I am pretty sure it does.

Here is the whole list of commands:
igw - ignore whispers ; unigw - unignore whispers ; igpub - ignore public ; unigpub - unignore public ; igpriv - ignore private ; unigpriv - unignore private

You have to type /options <command> for it to work.

Note: To answer your question MeTwoWhat, no, the squelch doesn't reset. I have just checked this out.

mm ok because there used to be these bots on my starting channel, everytime i log on they would spam me and the squelch resets each time i log out and back in

Yea, its really annoying. When I tested it, I didn't get any spam in the public channels when I first logged in. I have only tested the igpub though, not the rest.
