Just to want to know, I heard about something called WPE and we can hack mapleglobal with it??? anyone know what is this? and what can we do with this ''WPE''??

WPE stands for Windows Packet Editor and yes u can hack maple w/ it but u can be sued by wizet and u can make it so that a snail gives 1 bil exp or 10% scrolls always work or like mushmom always drops ilbis.

yeah it edits packets but i dont think it will be to easy cos the packets will be encrypted

The funniest part of all these people saying that packet editing is illegal is the fact that wizet would never waste the money to sue anyone and if they did you would never go to jail for packet editing a game, you would most likely just get a slap on the wrists.

And yess, WPE does inject a .dll that you have to create yourself, that is the reason a lot of people have no clue how to use it.

It does not inhect anything, and it is only detected by some strings in the GUI.

I am pretty sure it dont inject anything from what I can tell. My half bypasses wpe is only being detected by some GUI strings

Hm. My friend mentioned another packet editor that he's using to try and figure out the scroll hack (tells the server it was a 100% scroll when it was actually a 10%). And from what I know he's not making it bypassed by editing GUI strings or using a bypass period, but I could be wrong.

it seriously isnt that hard to get 1 10% and 2 60%'s to work
ive done it more than enuff times ive even done a +3 10% attk 2slot wg(for people w/ less than 10 iq points thats 9 attk 2 slots)
imo that scrolling looks like a buncha BS cuz if it was a scroll hack in the making wouldnt it make sence that u would use all 10%'s o_O

I did find the DLL injection problem and I fixed it. The bad news is I still have a string or 2 being detected in my GUI =( lol

Well..even if you could bypass WPE, maplestory encrypts all of there packets so not one is the same. That could be a big problem -_-.

Well, if you were the person with scroll hack and 7 10%'ed items, would you be showing those items to people so they would appear in posts all over sleepywood and other forums and so you could just get stalked then eventually banned? I think not. I think it's smart that the people that actually have it keep the items to themselves and don't share/show to anyone else (maybe a fake item that some think they are using, like a +5 Geta).

Honestly, the people that have figured out the trick to scroll hacking wouldn't be so stupid as to show it off.

Anyway - Packet editing is illegal and they WOULD sue you if they caught you doing it excessivley - by that I mean scrolling items 10%'ed and selling them on ebay etc. Since packet editing is illegal, it is not talked about here much on MPC as they are against illegal actions.
