[Question] Hacking with a friend^^

Hio everyone!
First of all I'd like to thank everyone in MPC. Maybe it's just me but I think the amount of flaming and general negativity has gone down and MPC is a nicer forum to be a part of than ever before! Wonderful!

STORY: I was playing MapleStory (gms) the other day with my friend and I thought it'd be cool to hack so we could train faster. She doesn't hack but she's a cleric so I figured if I used dupex to bring the monsters to me, she wouldnt be in any danger and she could still attack the monsters with magic claw.

PROBLEM: Whenever she attacked a monster, it would escape from dupex and start attacking her. The thing is though, that the monsters wouldnt escape from dupex until she attacked them. I'm not expecting a solution, but an explanation would be fantastic.^^

Shes not the hacker so the monster comes loose. It would be the same if she was hacking and you hit them. Its common sense. Just think a situation like 2 legit players ksing eachother. The one that does more damage that monster goes after. Got it?

Monsters only on YOUR client get vacced, but when she attacks the monster they are put on HER client, meaning they won't get vacced. There is nothing to do about that except teach her to vac.

They didn't even ask for a fix.

Anyways, it's been posted why. also, when you enter a map, it does the same thing when more monsters spawn, some even unvac (that's how I know when to change channels when vaccing). If two people dupe in the same place, the monsters will be split between the two ;)

but in any case, the reasons the monsters disperse is because the dupe isn't meant to be used for two people.. your clients are conflicting

solution - have her set up a dupe in the same place, make sure the other doesnt move until one is done.

ACtuallynot true...if u can still hack, then teach her the ways on hakking and get her to set her vac coordinates to the sameplace XD
Then u can party and train together all u want XP
but hay..whetever floats ur boat, thnx for the detailed question, makes it easier to see ur not a mpc spammer and u actually have a genuine problem which can be attended to easily ^^
