is there a way to get sonar working when ur not in a tank or any other type of vehicle?

I was trying to do this... you might need to trick the game into thinking you are in a vehicle.

I tried to add it to parachutes too ;)

I doubt it would be possible as your person doesnt have a toggle for sonar=off/on like the vehicles did.

uhh I'm no navy commander but I'm pretty sure its RADAR. sonar is what boats and subs use to see things underwater. RADAR is used ABOVE the water. Just a thought ;)

Radar is radio waves, sonar is sound waves.

This is neither; it's a cheat ;-)

A nice cheat though.

I have a question when im in a vehicle i see like 40 things blinking on the lil map is this the sonar... if so how do i know wher ethe enemy is when all it shows are blinking things over vehicles and not over enemy..... am i doing something rong? im useing toad vision 1.32

No thats the way it is. Enemies, some vehicles, and stationary turrets are all the same blinking white dot. Hopefully toad will fix this in his next update.

Currently trying to se if i can get sonar to work with DC 0.3, they changed vehicle settings and names so i have to reverse engineer the sonar DC 0.25 minimod made by Max_Power, and se if i can get it to work in DC 0.3, also gonna se if i can bundle it with my full body skins as a minimod.

well this may sound stupid or something but whatever in some of the tanks or anti air tanks have RADAR or whatever its called its just better to just use that and run around with that coalition chain gun thing but the only bad part is you can't aim as low as the tank so you have to get the thing to rock back and forth to be able to shoot down more

yeah it was possible, untill DC 0.3 came out........
now have to start over again
