I tried DC for the first time and after using the sniper rifles I had this idea

If there was a way to take either of the sniper rifles from DC, remove the recoil, extend zoom, with no fog and put them in BF and RTR Also have them skinned like the ones in BF or RTR so no one could tell.

Just thinkof the havoc you could wreak it would be freaking hilarious!

you wouldn't need it reskinned. You could just take the regular No 4 or K 98 snipers and just increase zoom, remove recoil and such. You could also change the reticle if you really wanted to.

I've played only a little dc, but the sniper rifles did own.

You can change the reticle, and there's a single variable for the sniper rifle un-zooming in BF... I actually never tried to change it, might work (wow that would be nice:).

So you can re-skin, you can change the sound, you can change the reticle you can (but I wouldn't) change the zoom... and you might be able to change the un-zoom...

but I dont think you can change damage or clip size (and play on normal BF servers.)

yea i think thats controlled server side. You would have to be running a server with your modified sniper rifles (farther zoom, semi-automatic firing, etc.) and anyone who joins your server also has to have their sniper rifles modified.

Agreed.. i played around with that last night.

BTW, any ideas on how to bypass that? Holding down the left mouse button is the best I can do so far :/

Hehe... I'm just an idea guy, i dont know how to hack anything. I know you can increase zoom for all weapons on any server, but it would be awesome if you could have semi-auto sniper rifles (ala DC) and have it work on multiplayer servers. I know you could remove the black around the outside of the sniper reticle and change the reticle (I think toad is doing something with that). SO if you just increase zoom you will still have a b*tchin asz sniper rifle. Lets just hope toad releases his aimbot soon (me need kills!)

Toadvision 1.32 does remove the black around the outside for full screen view, plus increases zoom a bit.

I just like the DC ones because they are semi-auto, you stay zoomed in and you carry like three times the ammo. The damage I could do on BF or RTR server with one of those on would be devistating as long as I could stop laughing long enough to get some shots off.:jok:
