Ways to change GUID

After a GUID ban, I'd like to change my GUID. As I've read on MPC, you need a new key. Can be obtained from EA games for 10$ I've heard, if you mail them. Someone apparently sell them elsewhere too. Or buy a new Disc.

Once you've obtained the new key, you need to replace the old one.

Can this be done with regedit, some tool, or is there one way only, reinstall of the game entirely ?

The serial should be in the registry, so a simple reg edit could fix it.
But i believe that if you e-mail EA, you can obtain a new seriall completely off charge.

mmmm, but need a new serial. EA wont change my serial for the 10$ as they write, only in the us. Only way now is a new CD, right ?
