Upgrade

As you may have noticed MPC got a much needed upgrade.

I am opening up the forums now to minimize downtime, there might still be some bugs right now but I will keep working on it. For now the main features all work fine and that is what I am most concerned about.

If you notice any bugs or something ignore them for now, if they persist and are still around after a few days post about them and I will do my best to take care of it.

One problem, forums are loading extremely slow and half the time forum.php ends up with a database error.

MPC did need the upgrade. I think the upgrade is great. There are some really nice new forum skins now and some new useful features I saw too.

yes there is, click the "multi quote" (multi off/on) button on each post you want to quote and then click on the big "add reply button" you'll automatically be transfered to a new page with all the posts quoted already

After connecting to mpcforums.com; logging in; I still cant access my CP or any other functions without clicking on the forums first otherwise I get 404 errors.

Ahh I see how to work it now, but its not the same as quick quote because it doesnt go in the quick reply box u need to do advanced reply on a new page.

The "Quick" button just scrolls to the bottom of the page..

And just noticed the 'redirect' options; allowing us to either leave a permanent one or one that expires after a set time period - that will definietly make for a cleaner looking forum.

The MPC 56k skins are still full size. The others skins were always centered and they still are now. You'll get used to it. And if you don't want to, you can switch to a 56k skin. :)

As usually, I come back after a long time being away and everything's changed.
I feel like a noob all over again ;) (everything is new!)

Despite my picky taste, the skin looks great and everything works smoothly so far.

I doubt we'll be using the old skins anymore as the new ones are more slim-lined and created for the new version. We want to incorporate all our scripts/features into them as well, and that takes time and effort so we'll see how it goes...

God,i was in love with the wide 56k skin,and you took it away grrr.
the new 56k skins aren't nice at all,would be cool if you'd put that old one back.
