I'm sure you know if we change format of gameguard.des file to .exe it will be working excutable file. In what language gameguard.exe is written? Maybe there is a way to decompile it and change ip of update server to own serwer with old server files?

GameGuard.des does not hold the update server information from what I can tell. Its MuEng.ini from the game you are refering to. Mu Online. It has all the info in that file but it can only be decrypted using the public key and cannot be encrypted back with changes because we do not have the private key to do that.

However, you could generate a new key pair, and replace the public key in the GameGuard executable. Then generate a new configuration file using the private key from the new key pair. Better yet just rewrite the machine code routines associated with reading the configuration to read it in clear text =P

GameGuard.des(exe) doesn't do the updating itself,it loads npgmup.des(dll lib) to update the files,also loads npscan.des to do some preliminary scanning,and shows splash.

However it does read the server's hostname/ip and path from the ini file.
There are many different ways which you can use to change update server or disable updating/av check/splash in general, however i will not say them here.
