no we don't, its just in other fps. I've been playing with the possibilities, small time stuff, not the big stuff others do, but the games great, and I was talking with someone else, who I won't mention right now about doing some really powerful stuff. I don't know though, depends how popular it gets. Some people seem to like fighting in world war 2 then in a more modern day sitation. It was strange some of the mplayer maps look like they are built off iraq references even though its taking place in Somalia. Architecture looks similar. I love blowing up thoe pathetic technical vehicles though.

Mickdude you've been warned. That was completly unnecessary. Vietcong was a good came so I hear I haven't played it and I hope bhd is going to be even better since I'm a huge real scenario addict. I joined the army when this movie came out. Best movie in the world. Shug and Gordy...bah. My friend over in Iraq (Johnny V.) we call him gordy. Anyways this has gotten severly off topic and I think there should be a bhd section. What engine does the game use?

wow that dood was very melodramatic.
Anyways I think Black hawk is cool game and it has more relevance now since its similiar to the bagdad setting. Im gonna buy it. I wont be caught dead joining the army but ill sure act like a marine!:p

it's a alright game bigtimestuff. I gets old after awhile because the mapping tools are from the caveman era in comparison to other games tools, or 3dsmax mapping. Hopefully they will make some add ons in patches like epic does, instead of boxing it and selling it off as an expansion set in the stores. I find it is very boring unless the max load of players (32) or close to it are playing. I was hoping for a co-op feature, that would be fun. Maybe soon or someone will do it.

Well im still going to buy it but what new shooter game do you recomend as the most exciting?

My tastes are my own. I could get into alot of games here but I won't. Just a few - I love ut2k3 because I can modify the game and shape it into anything I want to play. Planetside is a great shooter and it's a mmofps, as they call it on their website. Go take a look, see if you might like that. It's a good game, sometimes it can be a bit boring but if they keep making add-ons like Sony usually does, then I'm sure it'll be fun for some time. I like it now and it's only beta.

If you like military games (the non-futuristic type), you are asking the wrong person though. I really don't like those games too much. They are boring, more male oriented and just slow. Troopers TC for UT2K3 is great, and i can't wait to get the full beta with all the finished product there, I like that for war..because its Star Wars/ut2k3 engine.

ah yes i heard about the planetside game as being cool. whens that coming out? Military games being male oriented? They (army) let females fight now too. Didnt you see those 2 female POWs that were rescued?

Yeah but the game doesnt reflect that. If it did, itwould be something nasty looking I am sure, as the regualr skins are bottom of the barrel as far as skin artist talent goes. Then again the models are real bad too, so there's a combination of problems with AAO and other military games. I have yet to see one that has characters I think look cool and correctly modelled.

As for the first question, I dunno it's soon. I saw the coming soon boxes in EB stores. I usually don't keep up to date. I preordered mine so it'll come when it's out. I have thet beta now and that's keeping me a little busy at times.

well im thinking about getting the planet game and halo. sometimes i get bored with the army games too when they are they kind where you run around in a forest forever without finding anybody. But the blackhawk games looks like a lot of close -quaters stuff. i like constant action usually.

thing is there can be that many votes, but theres not a whole lot of threads yet. I'm still trying to figure out why radar worked then it didn't. What did they change in that patch. Anyway, I was hoping to see more people posting about that.

i think it's better to have a forum for the whole military section or just delta force series or something :D

I disagree.. check out the server lists and how many people play the game every day....

there are more people playing BHD then some of the games that already have their own sections...

and as for having a "General Delta Force" forum no hacks are interchangeable between different DF games... certainly not with BHD anyway.
