Ok this is an fps question that I thought you guys might be able to healp me on since I cant find too many decent tweaking guides on this. Is there a way to uncap fps since mine seems like its capped at about 60 and it won't go over? If anyone has any ideas or tutorials/ tweaking sites or tips please post.
Thanks

To uncap your fps just go to options in Raven Shield and then select your connection to T1.

The most important thing to get rid of the FPS problem is disabling vsync in your vid card settings. Also, upgrade your drivers, and if you have an nVidia vid card, go to www.guru3d.com/detonator and get the nVidia refresh fix tool.

well UBI set a max of 60fps by default, just go to your C:\Program Files\Red Storm Entertainment\RavenShield\Save\Profiles folder, go into your ini file and change your "ShowRefreshRates" to TRUE. Then go back into your game and change your graphic settings to your desired FPS rate. I have mine at 85 and it works like a charm.

Ok guys i know i am not a programmer but i do know tweek guides i have tried several things and this is the thing that gives my 64 meg g4 the best settings, which is 100 FPS during good times and maybe 40 during intense moments..
Also make sure you have the most updated drivers. Nvidia has a new betta verison out get it 43 somthing i believe, also there is a new Direct X verison out 9.0a somthing get that also.
first off make sure that you are not running windows XP if you are you need to make sure you go into your desktop properties by right clicking on your desktop/properties\settings\advanced\(video card) mine is Geforce 4\ then on the left you have Refresh Rates make sure you over ride your settings to what ever your monitor is capable of. (Windows defaults all monitors to 60 Htz) click on your settings that your run the game at and then click on Refresh Rate and select the Rate your monitor can handle. This will over Ride the 60Htz that is default. Then go into your Raven Shield .ini folder and look for
ShowRefreshRates=False
By default, Unreal Engine selects the lowest refresh rate (60 Hz). That's where the 60fps limit comes from. Edit to True to enable the refresh rate selection. Next time you'll enter the Graphics Options, you'll see the different refresh rates supported by your video card beside the resolution.
To complete your tweeks go here
http://www.pingwhore.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1578 this is the best tweek guide i have found it explains what and how is the best setting for you. hope this helps..
