When ever i play CS 1.5 my ping always like shoots up and down and other people have a tstable like 40-80 ping. A person i met on CS fixed this problem before with some settings he gave me but i recently fomaratted and lost them.

I really would appreciate help with this. And no its not my internet conection ive checked that over and over and over and i used to get 50 ping when i had the settings so yea...

first off try setting rate 10000 that should help a lot, second it might be the hack that u are using (if u are using one) third, is all based on ur system and the settings depend on how good ur computer is, sorry i don't have those available.

and set cl_cmdrate to "34"
