Locked ret TuT!!!! <----weeeeee?

| Things you need|

1. Tsearch 1.6
2. Raven Shield Nocd patch
3. Run Raven Shield in window mode


Well right now all I have found is how to stop the bullets from spreading. Witch is just as good as locked ret. OK go ahead and start up Tsearch 1.6, Then start up rvs. Play in Lone wolf mode, and pick one of the rpd's I like the m249 for the real slow ret. Now go to Tsearch and open ravenshield.exe in the process. Go back to rvs and make sure your ret is closed and hit escape to pause the game. Now back to Tsearch, click init new search button, and the type is 4bytes, search unknown value. Now let it search. Ok when thats done we go back to rvs, now make your ret spread all the way and hit escape to pause. Back to Tsearch. There is a button to the right of the init new search button, has three "..." <------- at the end of it. Push it and select type float, and search has increased. This search takes along time. Now we go back to rvs. Unpause it and let your ret close all the way and pause it. Back to Tsearch. Click the search button to the right again and type stays float, and search has decreased. Search was alittle faster that time. Back to rvs. Spread the ret once again and pause. Back to Tsearch, type is float, search has increased. OK now the fun part, try not to mess this up or you will have to start over. Go to rvs, and hit escape 2 times real fast to make your ret close just alittle. Back to Tsearch. Search type float, and has decreased. Rember ever time your ret goes down, your value decreases, and your value gets bigger when your ret opens, real simple. Now in rvs escape 2 times so the ret closes alittle more, then search for has decreased type float. Keep doing this till your ret is closed all the way, then go to rvs walk around fire your gun let your ret close and pause, now go to tsearch and search type float, and search has not changed. Now keep repeating this till you get to say 46-100 results. Oh btw I forgot, you might want to run rvs in window mode, do this by hiting alt+enter in game, makes this alot better trust me. Anyway back to the tut. go into rvs and make sure you can see your values on tsearch. the values you will be looking for will look something like this "2.256555e55" now that is not what yours will look like. Just want you to know that it will not be a whole number like "412" or anything like that. You need to find two addresses right on top of each other. they will only change when you move your ret, or when you shoot your gun. Now when you think you have found somthing duble click the address to add it to the cheat window. On tsearch there is a button at the top called auto hack, click that and hit"enable debugger", now right click on the address that you added to the cheat box, and click auto hack. Now go to that button at the top of tsearch called auto hack again, but this time click auto hack window. Go back to rvs and run around spread your ret and make sure to shoot your gun a bit. Go back to the auto hack window and if this was the right address there will be three results in the auto hack window, now two of the addresses in the auto hack window should look alike, and one should be very different. Click the box next to the address that looks different in the auto hack window. If it makes the screen on rvs go black when you check it, then you got the right addresses in there. Uncheck the the address I just told you to check, and check the other two. Now your bullets should stay nice and tight. The two that you have checked need to be highlighted in the autohack window, then push the tmk button up top, and copy all that text in there and save it to use on trainer maker kit or somthing.

use a machine gun...or a rpd ... something that spreads it fast.

but if it works it should work on all but more noticeable with fast guns.

i have original exe file, the ret doesn't stay closed all the time, but when you wait for it to close, it doesn't budge

so im guessing if i got the .exe you used, it wuld stay closed alll the time?

Guys tsearch has a feature where another user can do it for you...if u have a mic and have dsl or cable and have aim get on voice chat and do it..its easy.

OK when I get to the step of the 'fast double tapping' on the Esc key, my x-hair doesnt get any smaller? how many times roughly do u have to do it?

u know crouching and going prone makes it smaller, double tapping esc is un-needed frustration.

I would assuem the more times you do it the better. your quarinteening other strings that arent needed each...do it as much as possible.

Its better just to do it standing up. You won't be shooting crouched down half the time will you? I guess either way would work though.

K what i meant is, instead of hitting esc twice to make the ret smaller, just crouch or go prone once it gets to the point where hitting esc makes no apparent difference. It doesn't matter that your crouching or not, it wont affect how the ret lock comes out in the end.

no no no, you're misunderstanding. You sill HAVE to pause the game, i just dont use the hitting esc method to decrease the size of the reticle.

To help on that esc thing... ESC is so your game pauses... so when you press it twice, your letting the ret set for a sec, then press esc AGAIN to pause it when it's slightly smaller

Tapping Escape quickly worked for me just fine. I don't see why you need to crouch.

I got to the part where you have to find the values right on top of each other, but I can't seem to find the values mentioned. ALL my values are changing down the list. Is there an easier way to do this? I'd hate to test out 90 entries like he mentioned.

Just looking to catch the silly people who use the names I know, or in your case, registered email addresses. Most people have enough common sense not to register on here using there same emails on ladders.

If you wish to cheat that is fine. I personally do not condone such behavior nor do I discriminate against those who do unless it is in a gaming arena to which I administer and try to keep free of these cheats, exploits and/or hacks.

It is a smart decision that Thanny decided to avoid CAL as this is proof enough that would have had DLR removed. I hope Wizard doesn't stop by here bro. He may not appreciate a player from one of the most respectable teams "Just trying to figure out how the hell everyone is cheating".

Rest assured, ever ladder has a representative on these and other forums like it just looking for the occasional player to slip up.

Most TWL Admins check here to see whats out and to find ways to help detect cheats also keep upto date with basicly what is outthere so far :)

I dont care who uses this place, But be warned anyone cought cheating in a match will be dealt with.

Anyhow yes I do try the cheats out incase you wounder but this is also so I know it is true. This does not mean I am going to use it in game. I usually find out and try to see ways to detect them, This place is a good scorce for Admins on ladders now and again by us testing we can change rules a little just to try and slow down cheating in Match play.

Might as well not ladder then. As I said, all ladder(s) and league(s) have a representative here. TWL, BQL, CWN, CAL ... the list goes on and on. If admins didn't investigate hacks, how would they know how to stop them. It is part of the job. Of course, their are 'bad' admins and I suppose my name being on here is going to promote me as a 'bad admin' and that is fine. My clan tag alone means I cheat whether I do or not so being labelled a cheater for investigation doesn't bother me all that much. Just hope I don't catch anyone cheating on CAL. :)

For an admin to kow whats out helps to try and understand how people maybe cheating you would be suprised how many people get cought. Gunter will tell you the same thing.

And yes Gunter keep my name quiet :) Even though I do not compete on the ladder I admin I still pub and no I don't ever cheat in pubs even if I suspect another player is.

But knowing whats out there does help admins understand what maybe going on in a match some time and sometimes early cheats can be detected with tests :P
