Ok so I just upgraded to an AMD Athalon X2 64 4400+ and I've been messing around with the Affinity settings and whatnot and I've come across a few questions.
First off, does anyone know of (I havent been able to find one yet) a program/application that allows you to EASILY manage which programs run in which cores (the affinity of the program) and keeps the settings permanently. If not this, A program that allows you to set the affinities of more than one application at a time (preferably without having to run each application before being able to set it).
Secondly, I came across ImageCFG which seems pretty easy to use to manage programs and affinity, but you have to do one program at a time. The issue with this (well, question really) is it says that you have to put it in /System32 as well as /System32/dllcache and well. . .my XP Professional doesnt have /dllcache.
Any help/added information to these subjects would be dandy. Thanks all!
