As some of you may have noticed MPC was down for a few hours today.
This was not caused by any type of attack against the server or any software malfunction.
Some new software and configurations had to be tested out on the server thus to avoid potential database corruption, etc. the server had to be taken down while the tests were being run.
I apologize for the downtime that was experienced; however, hopefully the server will be a bit faster and more importantly a bit more stable now (keeping my fingers crossed).
The tests that were ran were successful, but as with most things computer related the only real test is actual operating time so if any problems arise in the near future do not panic we will attempt to resolve them ASAP.
