I Just got Counter Strike and i have version 1.0.0.0

just a note i got the Counter-Strike that came in a box with the two dudes in the front one holding a pistol the other holding a shotgun. I'm knew to CS so can you bear with me? sorry

Yes you have to..... or you check out some CDs from PC Games Magazins.... most of the time there are some game updates........ dunno if cs too

You'd have been better off getting/buying Counterstrike-Gold Release.. I think it was 1.5 at install and that's only a small patch afterwards.

if you want to play online you dont really have a choice. just leave it downloading overnight.
