Locked Ret Hack(Should work on any copy of RVS)

Instead of editing the memory, I edited the file itself. I already tested it online, and it worked fine.

As far as I know, this file should be the same on everyone's computer(unless they've changed it themselves, or have some kind of patch).

I doubt that the client's R6Weapons.dll is checked with the server's... After all, the game's executable isn't even checked... at least not from what I've seen...

All u have to do is to do a different search(search like the other tutorial that was posted) by holding down the trigger(in single player) then pause/esc game, do a search for has increased(before u did this u should of done regular search for unknown 4byte or float value), then repeat the has increased or decreased(depending on how your recoil is at the time) again holding down on trigger while gun is recoiling, then pause/esc and do same thing, do it many times and u will find the address for no recoil , ggz

hmmm no recoil may be possible, try firing and hit esc search for 1 with 1 byte search, go back to game stop firinng then search for 0 may work. someone try that, kinda busy right cant do it myself :S

I doubt that there would be a boolean value for recoiling... Most likely, it just randomly offsets the cursor when firing... You could probably do it by finding the player direction and aim height, setting breakpoints at each, then firing the gun. Then just NOP out the code that changes those when you fire...

I'd do this, but I don't know range of values to look for. I'm sure anyone who's worked with this engine before would be able to do this quite easily... I wouldn't be surprised if there's a command that shows the players direction numerically... Although, since I don't know the command, or know what kind of numbers to search for, I'd have to do it the hard way... and I hate blind searching...

The reason i say hold down on trigger in single player and esc/pause is to freeze the gun at its highest point or mid point with its recoil increase, therefore giving you the opportunity to search for has increased values, i use 4 byte only and i have had good luck, u can find the values with 1 byte, 4 byte, float, just gotta try it more, and spend less time talking trash about me on forums, thats why i refuse to help till now, tired of people back stabbing me, i didnt post original tut on perfect ret cuz someone else did, and they did a good job explaining it....

TheDespOne. I think you're confusing people because you keep referring to it as no recoil. The recoil is where the view moves jerks to the side when firing... The reticule is the red lines that control how much the bullets spread, or the accuracy... So, you keep saying that you took away the view jerking when firing, but then you talk about the tutorial that stops the bullets from spreading...

Rvs guy that script doesnt affect the side to side recoil. If you had no recoil and ret lock you could fire all 101 bullets from a gun and they would all land directly on top of eachother. Its not even close to 0 recoil, because for one thing the gun takes a slight dip down every time you fire.

I use the dll for ret lock and the aliases alteration for sort of faking no recoil but u have to adjust it for each time u change weapon u use as its always diff in recoil amounts. Thing is it still also varies with zoom and no zoom. and again distance affects how acurate again all the bullets land - But it still works but it will not save u from getting owned still - it helps all this but it dont mean u will be of that much advantage :P just sometimes it helps u out... The thing that will make u own will be if or when someone ever gets the single player aimbot working in multiplay.

Thats not because the dll. When you go to your ingame server list, you need to uncheck gametypes like pilot, bomb, ect. The error your getting is because:
1. UBI's smoking crack
2. UBI Messed up by making it so once 1000+ servers are listed your Rvs crashes.

I just tried the ret hack but there s a small problem i figured out.
U edited Cmags too so i got cmags on every server even on them where cmags are forbidden.
Im not sure if enemy can see on spec mode that u ve got cmag on a cmag forbidden server.

Any ideas fixing that?

Was referring to the bind in the .ini file that forces the ret down on fire. Worked ok for the guns, but was complete crap for nades etc as it forced everything else to go downwards too.
As far as i can remember the first no-recoil for moh was similer to that. Just need a nice script or hack to enable a good working no recoil for RvS.:cheeky:

Ps: A good quick weapon change script for RvS would be much appreciated too :cool:

You know you could always bind a second key to primary fire without that no recoil script. That way you would have that for no recoil and the other key for tossing nades without the aiming your grenades down problem.

tapping primary fire throws the same distance as holding it down for 3 seconds
i use the recoil alias right on my left click, for nading and shooting.
i didn't even know what you guys meant about it "pushing your nades down"

you ready the grenade, then you don't have to be out in the open as long to throw it... of course, you can try and time it right when you tap it... but if you're just a little off, or your lagged, then the grenade will get thrown too early or too late... which usually means, you're ****ed because that grenade is coming right back at you...

I'd do it but I'm not at my pc. Just drop the no recoil Alias down to a new one, give it ia new name Like Fire2. And make the Fire alias the default without the no recoil stuff. Bind Mouse1 to Fire2 and Mouse2 to Fire.
