and what does it say about you being kicked? Does it say in the chat, player has been kicked for hacking? Is the admin told you were kicked for hacking? And can you get worldwide server bans like on vac

Lets put it this way.

Hacks such as BHUD, because of the way it was made, should only give a 2 min TEMP ban.

HOWEVER, PB is who decides what they give out for the detections. They can pick and choose what type of ban when they want. It can be a 2 min temp ban. It can be a perm GUID ban or a perm HardWare ban. Anytime you cheat, you are always risking a perm ban.

so let me get this straight, if i buy any sata hdd and set up raid 0 and still use my old hdd with everything the same excpet for raid 0 i can play without being hd banned on a new name? if so im going to buy a $30 hdd lol

whell i got hw banned and mostly all you gotta do is buy a new hd and like scruie said get a raid because pb can't find the serial and also with me my only problem was getting a new mac addy and i tryed everything to change it all programs and it got stuck on acquiring network address so i baught a new one and then it still wudn't work so i did live assistance and they told me to contact my isp so i did now im un hardware banned so mostly what you need is
New Hdd
new Network Adapter / sometimes some isp's can allow you to use mac addy changers but (time warner cable high speed internet has a security thing so that you got to call them to change it)
and i had to turn off my firmwire just to be safe that is the thing that is named (1394 connection) you can just disable it i dont think you need to buy a new cd key? i was hw banned and tryed it and it kicked me but when i was un hw banned i tryed and i played just normal i got promoted like 10x cuz i stat padded with other {EH} but i dont think you need a new cd key but i got banned from hw ban ;/ but that simply wat you do if you want it simple
buy
New hdd install it
new nic card install it and if you get stuck on acquiring network address call your isp
and they ban firmwire 20% time so i'd disable it

er can i use my old hdd and just install the new one and use raid? but not install windows/any programs on it? i mean use it purely for the raid & still run everythin off my old one?

is your old one banned? if so then i think you can use it but it must be secondary not the primary hdd drive cuz they check primary ones i do believe i've been hw banned once i dont really care about it i just buy a new hd and new net adapter but i think u can use the new one as primary and old one as secondary drive

Heres the thing about RAID. It makes it so PB can not grab the serial number from ether harddrive so yes you can use your old drive. The twist tho is that you can only use the maximum size of the smallest harddrive in the raid set. So say your old harddrive is 40gb and you bought a new 100gb harddrive and used both drives in raid. You would only be able to use 40gb on the new drive to match the size of the old drive. Both drives must be in a match size.

my old one was 150 and my new one is 80..so i can only use 80 on both? thats still 10gb more than i had before and i didnt really need space so its all good.
