Squad leader unlocks not available without squad members----

i narrowed the code down to location

within the bf2142.exe.

change the jump condition there to a jmp and it will work in single player but will not work in multiplayer. therefore i assume that this is controlled by the server.

what i was wanting was to make my own squad and be squad leader and have access to the squad unlocks without having to worry if i have enough squad members.

this isn't possible from what i have tested.

Easy way is just to invite people to your squad. Inviting 5 people, usually atleast 1 person says yes so then your good to go. And from what I found, it is indeed serverside.

also maybe you could hijack a squad with lots of members(squad jump) then turn into squad leader, activate your squad leader unlock then jump back to your own squad.

I dont think so. I think the check is in there actively. Easy way to check is have a member in your squad and then have that person leave.
