View Full Version : A few hours of downtime.

Some of you probably experienced a few hours of downtime today, about 30 mins before this post. No need to worry MPC is fine, just had to do some database maintanance to avoid corruption which could have led to lost posts, threads, attachments, and members.
It turned out that the maintanance was a bit too server intensive, in retrospect I should have probably just closed down the server for the while that I did it and it may have gone even faster, but in any case I thought I should just inform everyone that the downtime was not caused by any sort of attack on MPC. We don't want any rummors to start spreading now do we ;)

Yeah, I noticed a slow down last night when trying to login. So just left the forums for an extended period of time.

I was also sleeping. I don't mind if MPC is down while I sleep, as long as it's back up for when I wake up. :D
