Winbots: For or against?

We might have had a thread about this before, but I don't know, so here we are.

What do you guys think about winbots? Are you for them or against them?

For the record, I am against winbots because I feel they are used just to look cool. And also, as Grumpy said, I don't trust them.

Actually no one could care how much wins/losses you have...if a clan accepts you case of your win then they are stupid, cause when they see your play...they'll find out yer a fake..but if your play is excellent, then destroy the winbot...you dont need it..

Why not use them. You can still play well and then hack your way to 9999999 wins and zero losses just for the fun of it. I just want to see peoples reactions.

I personally think winbots are stupid. If someone does it just to be cool, its stupid. But If someone can give me a good reason, then I will accept it.

i dont really no wat winbots r for. but from reading this. looks like they used for making your record look good. i think it stupid to use those. u can get good records if u try hard and play good. i say a guy play he was good. he didnt need a winbot. i dont think he used a winbot or whatever but his record was 5,000and some/150sometin/1 or sometin like that

Im for them cuz I would like to change my record for 9999 loses just for the hell of it. StarCraft is too old to care about wins

the point of b.net is to make skills sharper and have fun(ya right, flamin everywhere)
even though i havnt played for a while my record is 101-34-27 in brood war
i dont really like winbots and plus im not that good at programming yet.

People change name often. I only have 132-30-15 right now.
But I'm playing starcraft since 1998.
I have a lot of skills, people think I'm a newbie with the stats.
It doesn't matter.
I created a game one time. And a guy entered with
20-~2500-350.
And you'll say, omg look at his losses, he sucks!
But no he has a lot of knownledge. etc..

a win bot is what changes your record.

Its a bot that people put in games to collect wins or losses. To collect wins, it would be called winbot. To collect losses, it would be a loss bot.

It does both, I downloaded one.. It lets you enter desired ammount of wins losses and disconn

a winbot can produce wins like every 5 secs( im quite sure)

a win marco(which im sure all of you have) produces a win every 1.6 mins(on fastest mode 2 mins = 1.6 real mins)

AssWipe, it depends on what type of winbot it is. If its a macro, it makes the games for you so you can run it with a friend when you sleep. One of you will get wins, and one of you will get losses. And the macro produces wins every 2 minutes, since the game has to be 2 minutes long in order to have it count as a win.

Nope, it doesn't work with comps because they wouldn't leave after 2 minutes were up.

Its the gamer bot created by Denial. I haven't used it yet, I heard it ok. Check it for virus's and trojans tho.
