How to provoke stats bug?

hey there have been some threads about how people can abuse the stats bug where you can get the same multiple ribbins e.g. the 2000 one which you;re only suppose to get once. I've managed to do it once but never afterwards... anyone have any theories on it?

also any known 1.10 glitches?

i know what your talking about. I was on a knife/defib only server and i already got the knife gold badge. (this server is really easy to lvl on btw) so i went back to the server like 3 days later, than all of the sudden i got all my badges again plus some ribbon (so the badges/ribbon got awarded twice) but i dont know how i did it, it just happend lol

The bug I really dig is where you join a server that doesn't see your current rank. You play as a new private and if you previously have gotten the following ribbons:

Legion of Merit
(Experience Points Received: 2000)

Soldier Merit Ribbon
(Experience Points Received: 50)

Good Conduct Ribbon
(Experience Points Received: 500)

you will gain them again. Also you should be getting a bronze in whatever class.

after the round ends I just log out and back in and I see my points credited. I have seen this 2X in the last two weeks.

we need to look into this further. maybe we can trick the client into thinking we are some lower rank so that it ranks up again. maybe the server sends the client the rank but the client does all the checks after that?

anyways, sometimes SINE is good at tracing the packets. I wonder if he even comes in here any more. would be a neat experiment-

they've fixed this bug about a month ago now... sigh...

i thnk it's generally called the "private bug"
