hate the intro video? the fix ;)

Tiered of the lame intro video crap that u cant seem to escape with out the help of some guys program that doesnt even work , lags your comp, or flat out crashes the game?
some guy on here offered his program to fix it and doesnt even work and he says itll lag your comp! lol
Any ways heres the fix....

path: c drive/program files/electronic arts/battlefield2142/mods/bf2142/movies/

now that your in the movies folder you'll find six .bik files.
remove all of these files to your desk top. delete them later when you descover this works for you.
problem fixed....your all welcome ;) oh p.s. if you feel you need that titan tut film then dont remove the titan_tutorial.bik file.

hope this puts a smile on all your faces or at least a sigh of relief every time you load up 2142. peace

don't delete the Dice.bik....you can't alt tab.

Also a fine thing
Start the game with the additional parameters listened below
+eaAccountName XXX +eaAccountPassword XXX +soldierName XXX
Example:"C:\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2142\BF2142.exe" +menu 1
+fullscreen 1 +eaAccountName Admin +eaAccountPassword
passpass +soldierName Misterx
With this parameters you don't have to login youself.
After starting the game it boots up straight to the main menu.

When I do this, I get a 2min kick for 'modified game'. I have to put the movies back into the folder.

I run off a DVD image on the hard drive, and NOT EALink nor actual DVD, which could be the reason for the kick. Just thought some of you who are thinking of doing this may want to know.
