Ok, I know that MPC has had one of these before, but due to inactivity, it got closed. How about reopening it? Recently in the Other FPS section, there has been people asking about JK2 script packs in many different threads. Just thought that if a forum was made for it again, there would be less confusion, and similiar threads. With the forum up, it would be more organized.

Maybe not. I could keep it alive easily. I play the game alot, there's alot to do in it still. Finally things are coming out, people working on things. Besides, this could cover modding, mapping and modelling too. Been working with someone on that in ut2k3. Either way, there are some great threads in Other FPS right now...if things grow then we will see.

Sure why not? I'll give it a whirl. But right now, my addiction is Planetside, CS, and ut2k3 [that is whenever my gaming buddy is in the mood to give it a whirl with me again :p]

I'm just doing this because when reading the Other FPS forum, people have had 3 threads on the same topic. As I said before, this would keep them all in one forum, and more organized.

Ya, I know. Would be nice. There shouldjust be a Star Wars Cheats forum with Galaxies...i've foudn alot of exploits (not hacks) but there will be more in the future, and mmorpgs always popular for those kinds of things. Knights of the Old Republic is coming out. Troopers for 2k3 and jk2.

There's also a good thread for AVP2 with some decent hacks for the game.

if we had a map / modelling section, I'd be in there too. That's all I have been doing for this game myself. I don't cheat in it right now, but I wouldn't mind that backstab bot.

The reason that the forum was closed was because it was inactive but it wasn't just inactive for no reason. When the forum started it was great, there was a lot of participation, a lot of scripts, within a month or 2, everything was discovered, people had been promising "hacks" but none were being released. No one could think of anything better than a "wallhack". At some point in time PharLap's Open GL hack series had worked on some maps in JK2. I was testing this and i came upon the fact that having a wallhack in the game had barely helped u. It was a fun addition but when it came down to the real important stuff, the wallhack seemed useless. I forsee no possibility of the JK2 forums becoming more active until there is 1 hack released for it. Just one would be sufficient. When this action is complete, i will vote 100% for it. Its not about keeping it alive, its about not having hacks for it. If you havn't noticed the UT2k3 section is being kept alive but there are no public hacks, i don't know about you but i can predict right now that it won't be time for the that forum is removed as well because of inactivity.

that forum(ut2k3) is actally got alot of people posting daily though. I can tell you that alot of the other games using that engine are in for the same dose of problems epic gives ut2k3. They work with those people. Cliffy B is bragging about it all the time in irc, message boards, and how eventually all the current build engines won't be hackable. There's cheats, the good ones are just kept private for that reason. You know, we talked before NN, we could try working on a few things together for this game. Let me know. Something good but with a taste of the classic ut hacks. Nothing that will take away from the visual beauty. Just something simple and effective. Radar would be the best. Nothing needs to glow. You'd have to be blind not to see other players in this game. They are easily spotted. Radar though would be nice to have an overall control of who's where like the old ut hacks as well as just a simple timer on the amp, shields and super weapons.

There is a jk2 backstab aimbot. I have seen it working, recognize it now in games. Eventually it will come out. Raven hasn't patched since 1.04 and when was that? last year this time. People beg them to stop the scripts but they don't. Right now all we need is a good hack. Wallhack isn't good you're right. There's no point in this game. That backstab bot though...that's great. With a few edits you can get funkicks scale damage to max on any server running omni or jedi or a variation of that, and ALOT of them are. Especially the servers you actually want to go cheat in - The rp ones where they run omni 2.2 rp mod, and are all sitting around begging to be killed via cheats.

One last thing for NN - if you have this we should play on my server. Ask Darkcloud , it's fun.

Neither do I. I don't really cheat in general, but in some cases I do.

I would help keep a flow of downloads such as skins, maps, mods and all that stuff. :)

well i definitely want to do that world, especially for ut2k3. I would love to see mpc cover that stuff, and that is my arena. I used to have a website dedicated to that before. Ihad more models up then polycount and just as many maps as nali city. I would love to work on a section for that, but it's not my place to say if anything will ever come about like that. You would definitely see my post count jump to 9000 fast though with all the stuff I have, other peoples stuff I would like to share, teaching people to do it, and all the advertising I would do to get people to contribute to that.

Unfortunatly as i've said before i have uninstalled JK2 because i got bored of not having hacks for the game...I guess thats why i still play CS to this day, the hacks make it even more addictive then it can ever be.

ya me too. Plus with omnimod, the skies the limit and there's a numerous amount of other mods and maps out daily for it. World, try to play the beta for a map called universal, it's really great. Has matrix music in, forgot the dj, but theres a few teleporters in there that go to a dojo sparring room (different then the matrix one you might be thinking), and theres a japanese temple with a nice courtyard to duel, then a bespin duel and an arena that looks like something from the deathstar maybe. All this on one map. It's a great map to duel. Plus if you fall you dont die, you teleport back to the main room. So it focuses more on saber combat then force powers.

We the people of the MPC Forum here by say that we wish to have the Jedi Knight: Jedi Outcast forum back. It will be a place for editing, hacking, model making, and so much more. Now with the soon-to-be release of Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Academy, you MUST bring it back. Mach, me, and Felix (or ~World) have pledged our alliegence to update the jk2 forums and keep it active. a forum will not be started for 5 people, sorry. The vote must get close to 15 or 20 before a forum is created. In any case, i was unaware a new version of the game was coming out, maybe a new version of the game will call for a new forum, only time can tell :).

Right now, Im looking at http://web1.server126.notraffic.de/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=21, and I am seeing 4 separate JK2 threads up on the first page, and 2 are about hacks, one about a hacking site, and one about scripts. Whats the point of having them separated like this?

A problem is that people used to play jk2 when we had the forum. Then it got shut down and people left MPC cause it didn't have it. If we get a jk2 forum back again, we could get alot of people to come.

Also, alot of scripters probably arent voting. We could use their votes as well :)

Just watch when academy is out, then there will be a forum here for it. That game looks good and I know I will be playing alot. We can then incorporate jk2 into there maybe, although i highly doubt people will play it alot after all the stuff I have seen from academy. Finaly some secondary saber animations, and correctly done too. It should be good.
