Is there a way to edit flash? Such as if someone else made a flash intro, but it had some different words in it or something, is there a way to change the words?

There is no possible way to edit flash without the souirce code. Flash is one of those files that are practically impossible to reverse engineer. Flash is a great compiler in that sense especially if you want to protect images, movies and music.

u can rip embedded images/audio/video out of it... u can rip actions from it... and some more... don't ask me or pm me... it's illegal :)

I'm trying to find a code that will allow the entire flash file to "blink" completely white so that when printscreen is pressed it flashes.

it is possible with the right tools actually....... but if the developer of that flash is smart, he'll make it quite hard for you ;) (nothing is impossible to crack but some things can be made quite hard to crack)

well it's possible to reverse engenere it unless there is some extra protection.... and even then a simple program could just get all the frames and extract music/images as wooolF said.

your need flash introbuilder ... as it stands they can create a flash intro and you can pick it up l8ta and edit it.
Not sure how they do it but i am sure the scripters/programmers on here can work it out for you if you ask them in a real nice way ....... on second thoughts don't ask on here, go and ask them in #123 on rizenet.irc :D

false sense of security...

flash will always be a doddle to decompile (perhaps not decompile persay, but its easy to extract every object from an swf individually) because of the nature of its simple bytecode. .swf's are interpreted (by the OCX) and so this doesnt allow any chance for encryption -- macromedia dont intend to, or arent interested in, protecting the bytecode of a swf.

by the way, its not illigal. swf is practically an open source format. however, .fla is still a dark area and heavily protected by law. MM dont allow (by law) to decompile completly to .fla, and this is why apps like Sothink swfdecompiler and ASV are legit.
