Hello,
I am new to this forum but have read almost all the threads. Also been looking for about 8-10 nights for one particular hack for multiplayer AOK 2.0 games:
A hack that makes AOK ALWAYS save a game in multiplayer games.
Ideally it should only activate the save in my computer.
Why ? This is the *real* multiplayer antihack. If the game gets saved and something suspicious happens, I can later view the movie on the other player's eyes and check for hacks.
I have no problem with hacks, but when we agree on a fair-play match, they should not be used, and I think not everybody stands to what they agreed. That is why I thought on this hack. And game recording is always rejected save in tournaments (at least here in Switzerland).
I have made research on my own: if you change the game header exchanged by the DirectPlay peers, you risk unsync . But it seems possible to short-circuit AOK code there where it tests for the value of the "record-game" flag.
Do any of you know about such a hack, or how to create it ? I think that for fluent hackers this is piece of cake, but not my case !!
Thanx
