well it depends and in wich server u r playing...
in some servers that dont have jails ..i think u will get the weapon or anything else with no problem:D

I tried it, for "shits and giggles".. I think L2 is boring as hell, so I was just trying it, out of boredom.

Found a text file out there with some packets listed on it, pretty much all fluff. One made you spin around. Wow. Better be careful posting that. Don't want to get that patched. Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

I tried the tool on a private server and I couldn't get the 'request to buy' packets to work, nor could I get any other packet that would give me Adena or anything else useful - cheat-wise, to work.

I was able to capture packets, and play them back (re-send them), to make my character walk from one place to another etc, and other useless stuff.

Honestly, why would the 'request to buy' or whatever it was called, packet work? You're just telling the server you would like to buy an item. Doesn't the server still check to see if you have enough Adena and such? I couldn't get the packet to work even to buy things I just bought, even things I had the money for, and things the vendor was selling.

e.g.
1) I just bought something cheap.
2) captured the packet
3) setup the vendor again (targeted it, opened up the trade window, etc)
4) sent the request to buy packet again
5) nothing happened

I know the packets are being sent, because I sent other packets to the servers, and it is receiving them.

Anyway, use of the tool almost always hoses the game, causes it to lock up, and then 50-80% of the time after than, I can't even get into the game when using the tool.

Anyone have any packets that actually DO something useful?

I got some other packets to work, but all client sided crap.

Also, there's another version out there with a larger filesize for the exe and newer date 12/30/06, but of course some lamer had to encrypt the rar archive before posting in on the net. Anyone got the password. Rar passwords require brute force/dictionary-bases attacks afik.

but the 'buying items' thing doesnt work.

and this tool always say "You are using the demo version!" in my whisper window.
maybe we sud have the full version to get this tool work....

This thing is almost useless... some features of it works but mostly not... this DEMO version should at least be abble to get some good packets...

eg.
- You upgrade item to +1
- Capture the packet
- Send it again
- Item shoud go to +2 with no failure rate and so on

I don't know if I am doing something wrong... but I really can't see the packet with info about updated item anywhere... dunno if this is possible on L2 also but
I was abble to do this in pvt mu servers with a packet sender/editer

1st of all, yes, there is a trojan but easy to remove. 2nd, This wont work on servers c4+++ cause of anti hack program called amped.
