ok i keep seeing all these treads on 'how come dxwnd wont work' or why is dxwnd being g@y
well im here to say that it does work AND Im going to help u guys out.
ok first thing is that im not taking any credit from he people who made dxwnd (that person isa wonderful person) lol and i will not be posting it on this thread. google it. u will find it in less than 5 seconds. that is how public this "hack" is. Ok now to explain why dxwnd dont work:
wizet was bought by nexon so all the people who downloaded maplestory after that wonthave the orginal files of wizet. So it wont work u think ooooo but ur wrong. Dxwnd was programed for wizets files not nexons. Ok now letz get to the tut.
Maplestory has to be downloaded into prgram files just for ur information.
First open dxwnd,
u should then c a white box that says C:/program files/ wizet/maplestory/maplestory.exe
ok click on it so it is now highlighted. then right click it. so u should c the option of being able to click on excute, modify, add, or delete click on modify.
Now at the top u should c a button that has ... on it
click it
ok now go find maplestory where ever u saved it on ur local c drive. When u find it click on the folder nexon then click on maplestory folder then click on maplestory the game
ok now u should be back on the screen with the ... button
ok make sure the directx8 button is click and emulate 256 color palette ok then click ok
thats it you set up dxwnd but u have to do that until there is a way to save that and if anyone noes nhow to save it please pm me or just post it on this thread ty and i hope this works!!
