Whenever, I try to launch MapleStory.exe, I get the error
"Lack of Memory". I checked the requirements for running MapleStory.exe and my computer meets or exceeds all the standards. I also have the latest patch, tried installing and reinstalling, rebooting computer, and checked my RAM and HDD and both have way more than enough space.

Maybe Maple Started IP Banning...And after ip banning you they made this error...

Pretty sure it isnt IP ban as I can log on MapleStory with my other computers. I also never played MapleStory from this computer before, haha.

Your ram is low..
and.. you could have a virus using up all the memory..

if you use vga which is onboard then maybe some of vga didnt support direct 2d which maple currently use

even if you update ur vga driver this still wont work...

i have a pc with an old mboard which is use not sdram(pentium 3 1 Ghz slot)... even the ram meet the max requirement for maple but still the game refuse by prompt an error "Lack of Memory".. this is because my vga is on board type and the driver seems didnt support to play maple but for other game like warcraft its work well...

go to task manager, go to performance tab if the page file usage history is very high, increase ur kernel memory or physical memory

My physical performance is fine its barely moving its like a straight line and when I said I just installed OS I ment it was a new HDD when I got it.

Okay I changed computers but I still have this problem and the computer that I changed to is a HP Pavillion dv6000. It just crashed and I had to install Windows OS again and I already updated my graphics card and installed directx but I still get the error "Lack of Memory". Btw here is the website for all the updates I need : http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareList?os=228&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=1842155&lang=en Does anyone know what I should install to get maplestory to work? Btw I played maplestory on this computer before it crashed.

All my stuff is on MSEA and I just installed Microsoft OS SP1 and MapleSea worked but when I upgraded to OS SP2, it said "Lack of Memory" odd...

Try this...
1. Right-click "My Computer", and then click "Properties".

2. In the "System Properties" dialog box, click "Advanced"

3. Click "Performance Options".

4. In the "Virtual memory" pane, click "Change" to increase the paging
file. Windows 2000 requires an Initial value of 126 MB for debugging.

5. After you change the setting, click "Set", and then click "OK".

6. In the "System Control Panel Applet" dialog box, click "OK" to the
following message:

The changes you have made require you to restart your computer before
they can take effect.

7. Click "OK" to close the "Performance Options" dialog box, and then
click "OK" to close the "System Properties" dialog box.

8. When you are prompted to restart your computer, click "Yes".

If working, thanks to scruie
