I was playing a month or two ago and I saw someone say they were playing on linux. Is this really possible to play counter-strike in linux? I am running Redhat Linux 8.0. Is that possible? If so can someone explain exactly how that would work and how I could install it.

there are two ways of playing games on linux:
1. try to run it in wine (www.winehq.org)
2. get the linux version
it is definitely possible to play cs in linux.
gl & hf ;)
that, of course, applies to every windows software!

it is possible to play hl (cs) with wine.
you may come accross some problems, but if you're experienced in linux/coding you'll make it.

Not too experienced in coding to know any flaw or what have you.
