Ok, before you begin to flame me, let me explain. I have worked with computers for quite some time now, I know the basics (building computers, network troubleshooting, Windows/Linux) and have been programming PHP/JS (AJAX) for awhile now...

Anyway, I am interested and very determined to learn how to create hacks. I have been reading some of cal's tutorials and managed to follow along fine. However, I am using the retail and he was using the demo. I believe I found the address where it compares the team you are on against another player, for the minimap. However, using NOP's did absolutely nothing and JE made the game crash.

I understand this is very basic, but everyone starts somewhere. I remember the day I learned how to echo a line of text in php... Even remember the day I learned about the <title></title> tags in HTML. However, I am looking for someone who knows what they're doin' so that I can ask them simple questions occasionally. I know it gets annoying being asked "stupid" questions but they're not always "stupid" to the beginners asking them. However, I will obviously try to keep my annoyance to a minimum. :)

I know I can always ask questions on the forums but that will slow my learning process dramatically because I'll have to wait hours if not days for a simple answer to something that may be common sense to most of you with experience.

If you feel like your in the helping mood and don't mind being asked a few questions here and there. Send me a PM with your instant messenger info (preferably MSN) and I'll add ya.

On a side note, I'm not looking for someone to do things for me or give me hacks for free. I simply want someone who has a lot of knowledge about making hacks and is ready and willing to share it with me.

-Thanks

(As you can see on my registration date, I registered back in 2004 when I was playing Raven Shield. Since then I have been busy with many things and not really played any games. Don't let my post count fool you, unlike other noobs who spam the forums acting retarded I have kept my posts to a minimum only posting when I have something decent to say. As I said above, I am very determined to learn and will not quit until I do.)

So far one person has messaged me willing to help and has helped me with my mini map problem. I greatly appreciate it and if anyone else would like to help me if I come across something I am stuck on while he's not online, feel free to send me you instant messenger info (preferably msn).

Again, thanks for the help and hopefully I'll learn this quickly and can become a contributer to this community. :)
