Hello, and thankyou for viewing my help thread.
Note: yes i have contacted EA support, but the answers allways seem to be the same no matter what the problem is.

I have not been playing BF2 for just over 12 months, i decided i will play again so i installed BF2 and the 1.4 patch, started the game, went to play a ranked server and got the error message 2 Your CD-KEY is in use, contact EA support... hijacked/theft". so i did, and the reply i got back was that i needed to be on the same windows account that the game was previously installed on. However, during the time i have not played, i have had the computer changed into a family computer, with personal accounts etc so i couldnt use/remember the original account. then EA suggests i delete everything to do with BF2 and re install on my new account, so i follow the guid from bf2s.com.

After doing this i try to join a ranked server. got to 97% or so, and then kicked me with the error, Punkbuster lala GUID BAN "code".

So if anyone could give me any ideas what to do next, please do. (Excluding the, buy a new cd-key/harddrive)
P.S yes it is a purchased version of BF2 and Serial.
