View Full Version : Cannot connect with a cheat - How to fix?

Hey guys,
I have with all cheats I want to use the problem that I cannot connect to a server. The problem is:

The server always doesn't like the files(names). How can I fix this problem? At the moment I just use other models for T and CT because Wallhack and No-Smoke doesn't work because of this warning. THX for help.

The files the server doesn't like are the cheats/models. If I delete them I delete the cheats and I connect as a normal player to the server :P

Server probably has zblock, just find another server ;)

(if server has zblock it isn't worth joining)

Yeah, it uses a third party anti-cheat. Just find a different server.

Yeah, thats right, but is that the only thing I can do?
Sometimes I have to play at this at this server, for example when I play a funwar :ponder: :squareeyed:

You can always use hl2hook or alike.

arg, I am not so skilled @ cheating so can you explain me pls what you mean with "you can always use hl2hook or alike".
Is hl2hook a tool that helps me to stay undetected or what? 0o

hl2hook is a cheat. Its thread is sticked on top of this section.

Just find another server!

You have 60,000+ to choose from, your not exactly limited for choice.

hehe lol, so many really? cool if only I could believe that...
Anyways there is one more thing, that when it writes cratebig01b.vmt, doesn't mean that particulary this file not passing the consistency check, it might be not even it at all but could be the one right next to it or somthing... just saying for rest of ya...
