D2 X-Pac WASTE OF MONEY

I found that purchasing DIablo 2 LOD was a waste of my money, and it ruined the game. After killing Ball on Normal (not much of a problem for my converted lvl 80 barb) and watching the movies, I thought it wasnt bad, but ther new chars are shit - the assassin especially. The items on LOD are ridiculous and make the game less fun. 15k defence armour WHAT? So Im officially playing classic again, even though I'll use the handy resolution feature with X-pac.
How can you guyz like LOD? Didnt you think playing classic was better - more fun and more of a challenge?
Notice the LOD ladder... the top 100 all have maxed out EXP and they are all LVL 99... that just took the point out of that!

I like it, but then I have no cheats on it at all and never get rushed, otherwise it is now fun :)

Takes to much time getting to lvl 90 so I cba with the game no more... :(

ok in a way lod is real good .. i mean u have more items to find and can hire merc ..new act and shit .... but most of chars not worth to play ..

for example necro ... i need in hell cows 10 CEs or more to kill cows wtf ? that takes all fun ..and my iron golem even with 8k life is dying so quick wtf ? ..and IM .. haha need 100 hits to kill wtf man .. thats really bs ...

ok that static doesnt working so good like on classic . ok i can live with that .. but the thing with ce ? ... i nearly never see necro .. i thought why ?? necros owns so i made one ..and now i know why .. this is crap ..

druid ? does nothing in hell cows ..maybe dying lol .. or killing a lil herd while other players already cleared the cow lvl lol thats bs ...

assassin i really loved her to play .. really cool .. but u come into hell cows .. again that prob .. u need so many kicks to kill even with so many skills and dmg .. on Nm cows the cows dying from 1 hit lol and then the traps really fun ..

barbs same shit ... for all chars same shit u come in into hell cows even with so many skill points over 30 .. and it still sux to play .. wtf ??? ...

i guess i change back to classic ... there u can kill cows with 2 CEs thats fun to herd with bonewall and then clear fast thats real fun ... not to need using 10 CEs omg ..theres alot of such examples .. makes lod ****in bs

was a long post sorry .. but iam just pissed cos i luved to play ... and then i came to hell cows .. and it sux .. only nova sorc is worht playing .. or u have a zon with wf (thats not even enugh) and 160/60 ias armor .. well ok i can live with that too but espeicially that with the necro and ce sux so much

Its ok, i like them both, maybe classic a lil more. But my account got deleted so guess time to start new on uswest lod. Hopefully my GREAT GREAT packeting skills can find me a dupe... J/K hehe. But i need a rush on lod uswest.

.....dude....what are you smoking...it MUST be some STRONG stuff...xpac is only 15$ at costco and 20$ at a frys or best buy....i can't imagine playing d2 without charms and stuff...

wow, i didn't even like this game when it was first released until the assassin came out with the expansion, then I really had a great time. That type of character is exactly what I had been wanting all along. I also liked the movies in the expansion and the new levels. That's just me though I guess. People that know me would know why I like the assassin and why I had zero connection with the other classes save maybe that Amazon for the archery. I could give my assassin archery though and be fine with it. I never really followed the sites that posted the "best" templates to use for classes, they never worked for me. I did my own thing, and picked what worked best for my playstyle and had a fun time with the game while it lasted. I would like to play again, but I can't see what there is to do once I hit the highest level and get everything. I'm still trying to figure out how after doing all that, I can have fun. I am not much for standing around in towns using them like chat rooms like I saw on many servers. If you guys are actually doing something really cool with this guild/clan, I'll play again. I have enough room to install more games on my hd, and I wouldnt mind revisiting this again with the assassin. Anyone here who keeps up with this game, do you know if they are releasing another expansion at all, or are they going straight to that mmorpg type diablo, I had heard talk about?

Never see you in here machiko, diablo 2 is a REALLY fun game, and it never gets boring, well atleast it didnt, untill the public dupe method, i just got into selling stuff to, i was making mad money, :(, then the dupe came out and everyone was rich. But theres lots to do or was, 1 build chars, duel, trade, cow, rush, meph runs, baal runs, chip guy runs, travincal runs, ummm... chaos runs :). But building barbs and dueling was my favorite, o yeh and packeting the game is so fun to me i dont know why hehe, i found some weird stuff lol. You should come back, i donno what we gonna be doing, packeting in general, dueling maybe.

I need two things to come back, call me a begging town noob but I require help leveling up FAST, and I need the FULL set for the assassin. That one is a must, and most essential. If I can get that, I will come back and play. I read alot in here, and I used to play the game alot, but just haven't in the past year and a half. Would love to again. I like the people posting in here. Xmd1134, you seem like you would be fun to play with, and DC and I play other games together, and Tiny and alucard etc etc. I can't really say anyone here doesn't sound like they would be fun to play with. let me know.

lol without charms ... u cant imagine ..well its just the thing u dont need on classic ..
on lod u need 1k dmg sword or bow wutever and then u need ed stuff poison charms .. and other stuff to own .. on classic u dont need just get a 160 dmg bow and u own same like on lod with a 500 dmg bow with poison charms ed stuff and shit .. thats piece of shit imo

and necro really sux on lod .. on classic real fun to play to herd withj bonewall and then to kill with amp and then 2 CEs ez ..lol but in lod u need 10 Ces or mroe `? sux and my iron golem i maxed him now lol he is on hmm lvl30 i guess with mastery and he still dying to quick .. on classic its enugh on lvl 14 .. 10 is already good sux bad cos with blood golem on lod u can wait till u fall asleep until he kills sumthing .. that SUUUUUX

imo blizzard did a shit job with lod cos normally all chars should be able to own if u skilled right and have good equip but on lod it isnt so

Well, you have to be more decisive with the necros.

First cast Amplify Damage on the cows before you let your iron golem off into battle. You also have to have a might aura merc with you for this. Once your Iron golem recieves the might aura, the cows will be killing themselves off.

Here is what I do, I begin to raise up cows so that way there is a meat shield protected me and the iron golem. Once that is set up with 30 cows running, I first cast amplify damage then I begin corpse exploding.

Amplify Damage - Target has 0 Defense
Might Aura - +1000 attack damage points to allies

With that in mind, you'll begin to mow down those cows in no time.

Casting poison nova while your waiting for the first cow to die would help.

My Necro can summon close to 100 minions. Those who try to play while I have that many minions will lag out of the game. On top of that, anyone who tries to PK me while I'm infront of the TP will obiously get chopped down and there won't be much time to attack lol
