Hey,
Join the official Maple Story IRC Channel.
The channel is : #MPC_MS .
It's located in Rizon Network: irc.rizon.net .
You need to register your nick!
I think more users should come there, to talk or idle.
Its a good way to get help faster and help others, or just talk off-topic, no special rules there like here. :rolleyes: (you can talk about "not to be discussed" subjects ;))
Another good thing about it is that its a good way to get well known, and in the irc we can get to know you much better, and who knows what will happen ;)
So, here are the instructions:
1. To download the mIRC client: go to www.mirc.co.uk . download and install it, nothing is complicated here.
2. To join our server: when you run the mIRC, type this: /server irc.rizon.net and it will connect to the server.
3. Join the MPC channels: type /join #mpc & /join #mpc_ms. do i have to tell you what is each one? ;)
** direct join to mpc_ms, click here (irc://irc.rizon.net/mpc_ms).
We, the mods, are trying to be there as much as we can.
Helpers should come there too and they will have some access there to help us.
You can also click on my sig link (if you already have mIRC installed).

How to Register you nick and Identify to it?
**all the commands start with " / " .
**chanserv- channel commands server.
**nickserv- nick commands server.
1. choose the nick you like, command: /nick name
2. To register it, type: /nickserv register password email . (email needed!)
3. After you register it, you will have to identify to it every time you connect to the IRC. to Identify type: /nickserv identify password .
Sometimes it will ask you to identify even if you did before (if services went off and came back), you will know it when you see this:
-NickServ- This nickname is registered and protected. If it is your
-NickServ- nick, type /NickServ IDENTIFY password. Otherwise,
-NickServ- please choose a different nick.
-NickServ- If you do not change within one minute, your nick will be changed.
After you identify, to be sure it worked, you should see this:
-NickServ- Password accepted - you are now recognized.
