cannot connect

From EMS patch 0.23 to 0.24 i cannot connect anymore ..
firewall error ..i did set fire wall to allways allow connection from all ..i did everything .. even turn off my fire wall ..still ..gg cant connect to server ..even on normal start of maple ..
no cheats no nothing ..
what can i do ?

i uninstalled to ..4 times ..still nothing please help

Did you installed by manual patcher, or by starting PAtcher.exe in your directory?

still cant connect ..and i did manual patch to ...
gg is just freezing on connecting.. and then erroe 340

i launched Patcher.exe, the 0.24 installed normally. Then i logged on and thought.... omfg i forgot teh cheats, cant play "normally" f3

ok, there are many problems forseen by patch updates. one of the most likely problems is you host's file: what you do is: go to C/ drive then windows then system 32 then click on drivers then etc and all the files with the name 'HOST' in them, delete them. another problem forseen is a problem with gameguard, what you can do is go into C/ drive then go into programs then NEXON and delete gameguard. if that dosent help you uninstall mapleeurope and install it again.

And shankss and alll others 'waiting' for a cem file then why dont you just make your own? heres a tutorial: tutorial (http://www.mpcforum.com/showthread.php?p=1686308#post1686308)

EDIT: if none of those methods work then it is highly adviced to system restore to a time when you was able to play maplestory.

umm.. i deleted host file, there was also hosts.msn ( i left him live, so he cen age) and it works fine! Thanks!

Deleted em, plus the gameguard folder, still can't connect gameguard...suggestions?

hmm, if that is the case and youv restarted your computer and/or reinstalled maple then just do a system restore.

I still keep getting 340 gameguard error, no idea what the problem is, I formated, reinstalled, deleted gg folder, and the hosts in etc folder at drivers, also dhttp...what's left?

lol..try to set up firewall settings - hope you know how to do that! just add ms in the allowed list..

if that doesn't work, try running patch wizard..

If HOST files deleting not working

use IceSword
go to GMS Section and then Search > IceSword
read and do it
