i hex edited my cg.dll to cg_3rd_person to p3rs0n and it said that it was cheat protected when i put it into console. lol y?

Well for one reason, if you juts changed person to p3rs0n, it was probably still a 0 in the dll file. You might want to change that from 0 to 1 for it to work. :).
