hiding steam id?

i had a confusing email from an admin of a server as i was asking them why a certain admin wasn't banning blatant hackers and i was told that they had some form of program that hid there steam id's from the admins so they couldn't be admin kicked etc.

i wanted to know if this is even possible and if so how do you do it and how come its not on this site?

Most admins have no damned idea what theyre atalking about, I seriously doubt they have anything hiding their steamid. Im more inclined to believe these admins are incompetent.

i know there must be a way to give you a steamid pending but how i dont know
