serious problem with ms

ok, btw S3NSA this is a godly idea to make this forum, nyways.

when i click to open maplestory nothing happens, before i was banned during .38 i could open ms fine and i dont think it has anything to do with banning because i have played on my friends comp.

i think it may be because of this new "NEW THIS MONTH" thing but im not sure.

once again when i click maplestory, whether i select it in start menu, use the shortcut or try running it with the "Run" application in the start menu, nothing happens, no error pops up or anything its exactly like i had never opened ms at all

o ya sorry...i have tried downloading numerous times....same thing

ill try re-installing again. does anyone have any idea if the "NEW THIS MONTH" is affecting anything. and has anyone seen this problem before????

think i might have something to do with you host file. The same thing happend to me and i deleted my host file then uninstalled ms and then reinstalled ms then made new host file. That should work cause it work for me, Hope this helpd

did u allow it in ur firewall?

i had to do that with a different game and as i done that i discovered that it was blocking many of my other programs also. and if you are going to check your windows firewall make sure you check your personal firewall(if you have one that is)

thanks for the godly help hahaha ill try them. aww im so proud its my first thread with over 5 posts....i know its embarrassing but hey we all have to start somewhere

k which firewall because my windows firewall allows it but i have no idea if i have a personal firewall or how to access my firewall in norton antivirus

other than that unused can you explain system restore to me, ive tried it before but i have a feeling ive done something wrong because each time i use it and select a date with a system checkpoint, i reboot my computer like you are supposed to but then it pops up saying something like "the system restore was unssuccessful, no changes have been made" :(

Windows firewall Start > Control panel > windows firewall > under the tab exception add maplestory into that.
