I have posted this about 3 times, and noone has offered a solution, it always just keeps getting drowned in the forums, so now to my problem:

Maple Story, will not start, AT ALL, just blank, out and will not start at all, i have tried the following methods.

Manual Patch

Restarting

Reinstalling

System Restore

Messing around with Windows Firewall

Yelling at my computer

And nothing will work, anyone have a solution? Please... i'd like to play the game again....

Edit: Okay... new problem, it seems when i try to reinstall the game i get the message:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable"

lol, yelling at computer, um, try using the setup.exe in your nexon folder(or wizet)
(its suppose to help if your computer goes blank screen on maple)

yea u have the same problem as me, unfortunately i have not found a solution just like u.

ive tried deleting hosts

using host fix

allowing maplestory into firewall

uninstalling and reinstalling a fresh new Client

But nothing seems to work

maybe, im just thinking Maplestory IP banned us or something.

Did something Occur before u had this *Blank Out Launch*??

such as adding new programs, installing stuff, got banned from maplestory or something?

yea it does appear whenever we want to play maplestory

After we Click the *Play* button

maplestory executes but BLANKS out completely and returned to the desktop

thats like the same problem as with mine but i get all the way until after the character select screen before it blanks out.

Can you list down the specs of your PC most important is your VGA card.

When that happends but the game DOSE'NT quit then, it's monitor resolution, that could be fixed/changed and reajusted, just by running "Setup.exe" at MapleStory folder.

But, in case that dose'nt works, then does what Cute says.

do u have any other firewall other than windows? if so, u gotta add it to the white list

my hardware is not a problem, the setup.exe, i already tried, maybe you guys dont understand, "THE GAME WILL NOT START WHATSOEVER" theres no error message, its like i never started it at all.

ok lemme tell you how it goes

Uninstalling and reinstalling Maplestory doesnt work

Deleting GG folder n replacing it does not work

Windows firewall, Norton Firewall added maplestory into the *GOOD LIST*

HostFix GG Does not work

System restore hardly does anything

Resolution does change anything, tested and tried as suggested (because the main problem is maple just will not start *Blanking out immediately*)

Idk about my hardware, ive been playing Maplestory for years (i dont think theres anything wrong about it, but ill get the details soon)

Right click in My Computer and go to Propities and tell us you RAM Video and all that...

Even if the video card integrated, it should works.

Is there any error? a GG error? MapleStory just not loading? Check your Firewall Settings

I know this thread is a little old but, I have the EXACT same problem ever since about v.08 or 9. Used too I could rapidly click on the MapleStory Icon. And it would work, usually took a few tries though. Thus proving it isn't the CPU's specs.
I've tried reinstalling MS several times since then, deleting GG folder as well, deleting hosts, fix hosts, copy and pasting hosts. I've updated my drivers.
It used to work before around v.08/09 then it just suddenly stopped, and like I said, couldn't have been the CPU since when I used to click the icon rapidly it would work.
I've also used that thing in the maple folder that changes the refresh rates, I changed it to all of them and still nothing.
Meh, probably no help but yeah.
