Keep getting Error msg in EH 1.6.2

I had the bitch working fine.. then I had to reformat my HD.. After that I re-d/led AAO and also EH 1.6.2. Now when I try to launch the damn game from EH it starts to open then stops and gives me this error message:

It looks like some sort of vid problem maybe, but I dunno for sure.. All i know is I have the latest drivers and everything, so I am stumped!

Any ideas!?!?

Also, anyone know why cheat-network site is down??

Ok, the first time you install AA, ther's no user.ini . Did you start AA first without EH?

Did you, after that, made the mods to your user.ini for the mouse settings?

for cheat-network, it seems to on & off. I, too, have probs getting in.

Yes yes.. I did everything your supposed to.. Started it up first.. Changed all the stuff to highest..then made my .ini modifications to the mouse settings.. then opened up EH & pointed it to AAO, setup it up the way I wanted it and tried to open it. Thats when I got the error message..
Works fine with AAO Manager, but I don't want that crap.

Please help!!!

Only thing I think of is the video drivers? If it's not that, well, I'm as stuck as you.

Did you put the video settings at ultrahigh?

I don't see your card there. Could you downgrade your video drivers? Maybe?

I dunno, I really wouldn't want to though, otherwise this $400 vid card is pointless to have.. Besides I don't get it.. I had EH working fine in conjunction with AAO Mgr just b4 I did my Reformat of my HD. The only that I changed after my reformat was that I didn't reinstall the XP service pack 1. Cuz is slows down my puter to a crawl..

I just can't see how it's a vid problem cuz AAO works great when I don't use EH.. It opens up just fine!

OK, so it's EH. It's version 1.6.2? Is it in his own directory? Did you try to delete and unzip a new copy of EH?

Yes tried that to.. one weird thing to note.. the first time I tried to open AAO with EH it opened fine. Weird thing was that it didnt have the little floating EvilHack logo at the beginning, and when I opened a game up to play it wasn't working either.. So that's when I closed AAO and tried to restart AAO w/ EH and thats when I got the first error message

Run the AA's cleaner.exe once. And retry EH?

From you message I take it that this only occurs when you try to use EH?

I would try completly uninstalling AA. Rebooting, then reinstalling AA. Then launch AA WITH out EH and make sure it works (this will also create the user.ini file) then try it with EH.

Evil hack seem to be very very random with some of its settings. Try ajusting the games settings a few times.

That should fix it up.

And cheat network is getting DOSed. Where doing our best to bring it back up. We have a new host right now coming up so it should stop the dos;'s

Just read in tech support on AA that you should try to unclick the "no client side effect" in AA video settings.

Well reinstalling AAO didn't work and and the no client side effects is already unchecked by default anyways, so that didn't help.. THIS BLOWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that messege was some times stands on my screen but i did do nothing and now i dont get that messege i windows XP too i can understand your problem WINDOWS XP sucks so many programs dont work on it windows Xp means windows Xtra Problems
