my maple story is messed up

ok first off the perment windowed mode that i downloaded from another site messed up my maple story, see now i cant even go on LEGITLY the error that keeps coming up says "unable to find Gr2D_DX8.dll and then it says it cant locate it and it also says somthing about "direct 8.1" and it says it cannot be found and this all started when i tried permenet windowed mode CAN SOME ONE HELP ME PLEASE!:cry:
EDIT: it comes together like "unable to find Gr2D_DX8.dll direct 8.1"

Looks like you might have to redownload DirectX 8.1 and just to save you some time I'll post this Download link (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=4846c891-d45d-4122-8230-69f3e5ecdede&displaylang=en).

Gr2D_DX8.dll is a .dll file made by maple story. It is found in C:\Program Files\Wizet\MapleStory or C:\Program Files\Nexon\MapleStory depending on when you downloaded it. Because you are missing it, you could probably just put it in your MapleStory folder. So I attached it.

oh yeah i forgot to mention this i tried re-downloding maple story and the same msg came up.. and i downloaded direct x8.1 the same msg came up and then the Gr2d thing is in my maple story folder and the same msg came up! its really werid

dont use perma window, it sucks. u really dont even need windowed mode

Hi there !

So, I've tried that perma window mode and i got stuck on Maple as well...
the Gr2D_DX8 file helped me out, the error stopped.. however, i can't still play cause every time i try to launch the game ( after the patch window ) the screen goes black and goes back to windows closing maple...

Please help me =)

so, i already tried with DxWnd, it runs on a window, however, the game gives me an error as soon as it starts ( before the Wizet screen )...

Can someone help me? :(
