Hacks - Trojans?

My " mate " sent me a hack, and when i scanned it (after using on different steam account ) i said threat, i scanned, it was a trojan, he said most hacks hve trojans and it wont hurt my PC .. ? can i have some answers?

What he means is that many cheats are falsely detected as trojans or other harmful computer applications, which is true.


This fact does not mean that the cheat he sent you is clean and safe to use, though.

Well i deleted it. Its holzed v1.1. Also i use it on my other account (incase any1 knows me) .. And i tryed to download again, i swited AVG off so it wouldnt keep coming up, and know it says Error on winrar, can you help? Also Holz, could you change my name instead of bruza - DJ2000
