Have any of you been able to get EH 1.6.2 or 1 to work???

If so, mind telling me what your vid card driver is, when it was released, and also what version of Direct X you are using..

it works for me, latest driver, and DIRECTX9, u have to play the map like a time or two and then it works fine

I MUST use DirectX 9.0a or the game crashes before it starts...and I have the driver that was installed on this comp when I bought it so there ya go!

Hmmm I have the latest drivers, I have 9.0a I have everything! Why The **** isn't it working! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have radeon 9000pro.have the latest catalyst and driver.oh and those last lines that you should have at the end of user ini.... i dont havre them.i put them in as was told but had problems, so i just removed them.at start theres a few warnings about not reading certain things but i just click through it....oh and i dont set it all on advanced either. but i have to look at ground when i run in the larger maps that you see a great distance cause my card lags. like 3 to 5 fps. i turned on fog and it helped.i would do a fresh install of card and drivers and then the game.play that way a few min. to make sure everything is ok. then install eh. oh and ive used eh AND manager for the last 6 months and am doing extremely well!!!!!!!!!!!!but never as well as i could :) i wait till everyone accuses someone of cheating and then i go after him then when he says im cheating,, well hes usually just ignored!!!!!!!!!!hehe

I have the Radeon 9700 pro, with the latest driver and dx and its great.
Maybe you have some other system's problem.
write your machine preferences.

btw, with the new driver for Radeon 9700 pro there's a new problem, for me.
half of the gun is.. invisible! dunno why. i can ignore it. but its annoying.

And, Radeon is twice good than Gforce. you cant argue with that!
many many reports on the issue.

i have omega drivers on my 9000 pro .. you can find em at www.omegacorner.com and also on that page they have suggested bios settings and even "hacked" bios for your card and puter .. but i havent had the guts to try those yet lol
