Well, memory hacks don't hook anything, they just find stuff in ASM. This can be the game's cvars, or part of there the game tells it to do something. For example, find the effect of the smoke and make it useless.

The sv_cheats byspass for me keeps turning off/not working when I know it's on (Alt tabbing out of game to make sure the tick is set to "on" then alt tabbing back in)

Wait, so is this hack VAC2 un-detected or not? Also, I'm quite confused, is it a hack like Holzed, which works anytime, or a hack which needs special cvars set, such as pure or whatever?

Sv_cheats bypass doestn work!

Can't use cheat cvars in multiplayer, unless the server has sv_cheats set to 1.
