Need Advice!

Hi i recently moved to a more rural area where DSL is not an option....:'( so i have the option of Dial-Up Satellite and Wireless..... I dont want Dial-Up what would be better for playing Americas Army wireless(the tower is not far away)? or Satellite which i hear has bad lag....:'(?

well, my wireless speed is 384kbps and i can play just fine... hell, i frickin own (with hacks... lolz)

the sattelit is in the Orbit around earth. Means ca. 36000 km above us. The signals to and back sat is 72000 km, with the angle ca 100.000 km. The signals speed is (300.000 km/s). Thats about 333 ms.
And then the signals must through the telekomunication stuff from ure provider and ure router etc. 500-600 ping if it runs good.

Impossible to play ego-shooter and the costs are very high

in simpler terms...satellite will have a 2 or 3 second delay (at top speed)..which makes it a poor choice for gaming.
