View Full Version : Materials Hacks not working w/out coconuT ?

Hi There,

I have a quite strange problem going on.
Materials hacks aren't working for me.
I extracted them in the correct folder and stuff...
However, my player models (Supreme Colored Models) are working...
But something like Glass Doors (http://www.mpcforum.com/showthread.php?t=134863) and stuff aren't working properly.
I tried with coconuT consistency bypass, and then they do work !

So does this mean I need to run coconuT to make the materials hack work ?

Isn't there a other way to bypass the consistency ?
I also tried materials that claim to bypass consistency on their own (http://www.mpcforum.com/showthread.php?t=205740), however they also do not work without coconuT

some materials are blocked by consistency some not.

like wallhacks with the walls are not blocked.

but wallhack with the player,flash,smoke,guns,scope are blocked.

Thanks for all great replies !
I tried the Skell-CSS-wall-Mathack and the Freakvision hack both out, without luck.
I think indeed that a server side plugin is blocking the materials...
I mostly play on 1 and the same server so.
However, they do work with coconuT....
Stupid consistency... :dead:

yep then i recommend you to make your own consistency bypass, and not releasing it to the public that will be pretty secure.

It tell you how to do it in the memory hacking/support thread!!!

And theres no way of testing if something is vac proof or not!!!:(

Yeah, well what totally sucks is that materials don't work on the server I usally play on... even with coconuT enabled... they have a very good protection :tired:

What is btw the point of using materials with a other program that can get you banned ? I though that the point of using materials hacks were, that you can't get banned for them. But now you have to use a other program to bypass the consistency which could ban you from VAC2... So it makes no sense :P ;) Or am I hyperventilating :P ?

there are servers that prevent you from using any material cheat. those servers have the setting sv_pure enabled.

Aah, that explains something... but I guess 75% of the servers have that setting enabled ?

I checked out, and the server I usally play on is:


The server is using sv_pure = 1.
materials\... from_steam
models\... from_steam
sound\... from_steam
models\player\... allow_from_disk
materials\models\player\... allow_from_disk
materials\temp\... allow_from_disk
materials\vgui\logos\... allow_from_disk
materials\vgui\logos\ui\... allow_from_disk
sound\admin_plugin\... allow_from_disk
sound\ctu_rugeley\... allow_from_disk
sound\quake\... allow_from_disk
materials\VGUI\white_additive.vtf allow_from_disk
materials\VGUI\white_additive.vmt allow_from_disk


But why are the materials wallhack not working on that particual server ? Because it only accepts models from steam ? Bypass :D ?

Uhm, as you can see it makes you load certain game materials from "steam" so you cannot use your custom ones.

Illegally bypassing this pure check would pretty much kill the point in the usage of "legal" material cheats, don't you think?

you can still use custom player models tho... so it ain't so bad as sv_pure 2
btw. my bomb led is a big beep when playing on pure server

Hey Guys,

I just had this idea, I don't know if it's useable or has been done before, so it's just an thought:

What if we make player models with long spikes in their head, so that we can "wallhack" on sv_pure 1 servers with the player models on the whitelist...
So that you can see your enemies just by looking up into the air :) ?

Is that possible ?

If the server allows you to use custom models, which usually is not the case, then you should be able to do that, yes.

some pure server do allow the adjusting of player models, and many pure servers also dont allow the adjusting of player models.

if you cant adjust the player models by materials like a xqz layer wallhack i said you also cant make that spike theory of yours.

but i found a sv_cheat command where you did see realy long stripes of the player. but it was ugly and not nice for playing.

I think you misunderstand me (because of my lack of english knowledge) or I'm just a complete dumbass (that could be it too xD )

I mean, just take a player model like the supreme colored models, and put a big spike on it.

That should work on the server I usally play on because it accepts materials/models/player from disk :D

Aah i see, and for the consistency bypass, more things need to be enabled than allow player models from disk, right ?
