I Funkadelic (epborden), am one to agree with Frognik and Stealthy. I'm not going to be an ass, but since no one has come out with any worthy hacks besides them, and since everyone elses "versions" are based on Stealthy and Frognik's work, you have to respect them regardless. They were the only step forward in hacking this game, and currently still hold that title. Since they have the most working knowledge of hacking this game, I seriously doubt anyone will be coming out with a hack that will rival their workaround any time soon.

*IMO - This is a perfect example of taking a good thing and ruining it by releasing it to the public. This is why the best hacks in the world are never released to the public.*

However, I will have to say:

Stealthy and Frognik, it is unfortunate that your serial key system was cracked. In the future you should do what you have probably already thought of - which is - use better security in your program. No program is hack-proof but there is only a certain percentage of people that can hack good program security. Using a key system is terrible and has never been a good idea, just look at Windows. Now at the time I am sure this seemed like a good enough idea because you didn't intend to have some guy crack the program and then release it.

But honestly, this is the cycle of hacking programs. They always usually get released somehow by some leak, somewhere. They have a good run but eventually get patched and then it is time to sit down and re-address the issues on the table and program another hack.

Hacking a program is a cycle. You have to learn to adapt to new problems and keep hacking. I am sure that you already could program another hack if you wanted to.

And, the next time you do, program in a more secure way to lock the program from unauthorized users, or don't release it to the public at all. If the security is good enough, it probably won't get cracked. The reason being is because the hack will only reach a certain majority of users and if it is secure enough none of those users will have enough knowledge to break it. The big dogs won't descend on the program and crack it because they have better, bigger things to attend to than RYL.

Also, Stealthy and Frognik, you should not let this release ruin your efforts. I have seen that both of you are in some way or another stressed by the outcome of this program. However, I had hoped that both of you would have realized that this would probably eventually happen to this program. The best thing to do is, when you have time, keep hacking and keep programming. Once you are able to lock out a good majority of the problems and tweak your development and release ability then you are golden, and will be revered.

People talk a lot about Terayoot, but this guy only created a multihit hack. Stealthy and Frognik gave us much more than this guy. It is obvious that these two men are a fine group together.

So Stealthy and Frognik (unfortunately banned from MPC), keep hacking.
