I was wondering how can someone well me find out when a "Hack" is detected because id like to learn i still dont quite understand how it really work like if cs doesnt open thats means its patched or like when you log into a sever you get banned o.o not sure

Well, you'll know that a cheat is detected when you got banned for using it. :s

well i know in maple you get banned from the game
but in cs do you get banned from steam ? or the steam game of cs like if i get banned in 1.6 i cant play source ?

If you get banned due to cheating in an HL1 engine game (such as Counter-Strike 1.6) then you cannot join secured servers in HL1 engine based games anymore.

This does not affect your Source engine based games (such as Counter-Strike: Source), though, and vice versa.
