yesterday i got some time and i was bored so i made this hack.actually it took me only some minutes to get the right offset and the "biggest" part was to code the exe =P

if you don't trust a mod+silver JUST DON'T TRY IT and all the others please tell me if you want me to update the prog for further ET releases

that is not really a bug because the two files are different =P mem patching isn't enough because et overwrites the code very fast. :bored:

i think it shouldn't be too hard to make a pb secure hack! cd has a much better protection than pb. if someone can give me some wh source i can try to make it proof! (i'm new to the engine (normally hl) and i don't want to spend too much time on writing a hack for a game i don't play *g*

All they would do is program pb to look for the offsets in the file once it goes public :( but if you have any ideas grumps is looking for some. btw here is a source for a open gl hack for sof2 but all the wallhacks and ball hacks work with rtcw et

You have to put a / before you type a cmd in game. and if you will look 5 posts up it tells you what they do.

Hi i'm new. :)

g_gravity is a serverside variable.

Also, when you type /cvarlist in the console, it will have letters on the left side of each cvar.
The ones with 'C' are cheat protected.

On a side note, i'd like to request that someone make some crosshair code for cg_thirdperson. I say 'code' because just putting a crosshair in the middle of the screen wont be very effective. It will require some code injection, or something.

Anyways this is a great game and I look forward to seeing more cheats :)

yes curunir is right....cg_thirdperson 1 - you have no crosshair in 3rd person mode, thats bad if u like to play in 3rdperson mode,,, maybe someon could code a crosshair into 3rd person, so i dont gotta use my head as a crosshair........

not a DOT , but a actuall crosshair like in firstperson mode, , that helps u aim...!!coz, when u go into 3rd person mode (cg_thirdperson 1) the crosshair from 1st person goes away making it hard TO AIM without a crosshair in 3rdperson, so we need to like "paste" the crosshair from 1st person into 3rd person so u can actually kill people in 3rd person

more and more servers are putting r_shownormals and r_wolffog on the cvar list so you cant change it anymore, i think this is since the cheat appeared on unkn0wnch3ats :(

Ok. To make a correct 3rd person crosshair you can't just 'paint' one on the middle of your screen. Why? Because the screen does not move equal to where your head is pointing. To test this out, just put a peice of tape or make a spit wad and put it on your monitor where the crosshair is. Switch to 3rd person and try to aim with it. It doesnt work.

So what you have to do is render the crosshair position on the screen AS IF it were in FIRST PERSON mode. For an example of how this should look, play Jedi Knight 2.

Now, I have no clue how you would go about actually doing this, but if anybody able to is reading this, please give it a shot.

BTW, i'm not a hacker or coder :/

Hey Medic, i just wanted to let you know that it seems your cvar unlocker causes some (all?) 'normal' cvars to become cheat protected, when they shouldn't be. Could you possibly fix this problem? Thanks in advance.

I was playing today with this hack version 1.1 in the server called AZ_LINUX2_ET and a message kept poping up that says this:

Punkbuster Warning: Warning: Locked Cvar Detected Kicking Temporarily Disabled.

I don't get kicked but it keeps showing this every so often.

I was using these Cvars:
/r_shownormals 1
/r_wolffog 0

Any feedback would be greatly appreicated.

It will create a "modified" version of ET.exe in which u would be able to use "cheat protected commands".If u had not used the cvar unlocker, u wont be able to activate those commands as they are cheat protected

Use the CVAR list in one of the first posts of this tread,maybe you do something wrong or maybe it is just the server and that the CVARS do work on another server.The only way to find that out is to try it.

It seems that you where detected but that the server had the PunkBuster kicking disabled at the moment.

If you really need a cvar unlocker, here you can have the one I made.

I am pretty sure it doesn't bypass punkbuster what-so-ever (because it just unlocks the cvars).

What im saying is that I have tried all three Cvar unlockers that means version 1.0 , 1.1 and 1.2.
And none of them work properly for me..
I mean it doesn't unlock the Cvars that let cheating take place..
Like the thirdperson view and timescale (leet matrix style) and etc etc.
I,ve tried installing different patches for Rtcw - enemy Territory and none of them actually work together properly with the Cvar unlocker.

Does anyone has had such a problem yet? and do you know how to fix this problem?

EDIT: Well the little problem has something to do with the building patched file..it always says building patched file FAILED.

-Reading Et.exe ...OK
-Creating memory image ..OK
-Checking bytes ..OK

so its only the building patched file that everytime failed do you guys now understand my problem?

I have even uninstalled and installed WOlf Et 2 times yesterday..but it didn't help.
The only thing that worked for me was Kev's hack with the third person but he hasn't got the timescale in his CCC.cfg hack file so its not what I actually wanted cause there were alot of things not in the CCC.cfg file.
Only a few Cvars of the 556 in total from Wolf et's cvarslist.

CVAR unlockers unlock only punkbuster enforced cvars. The other ones (god, noclip, ect) are server variables, not client. Your client asks the server for the information and the only time you could use those in an online game is if you actually hacked into the server which is illegal.

du kannst damit bestimmte cvars (einstellungen) die normalerweise als cheat protected gelten (schreibgeschützt sozusagen) benutzen. das wird aber mittlerweile von pb erkannt, ist aber trotzdem hilfreich im lan oder zum testen.
